Glenda Beeston Stephen Wu

Stephen Wu has been a regular chorus member of the Melbourne City Opera company since 1998 in
productions of L'Elisir d'Amore, Un Ballo Masquera, Don Giovanni, Carmen, Falstaff; and Il Trovatore.

His singing training began in 1995 in contemporary music. In 2000, his focus shifted to classical music when he began
to study with Dr Joseph Talia. Stephen has since performed in several concerts with the MCO at the
Athenaeum, the Naval and Military Club, the Kelvin Club, Melba Hall, and the Daylesford Festival.

His first principal role in an opera was that of Marco in Gianni Schicchi.
