Michael Strong is a bass baritone who sang with the Victorian State Opera for twelve years. He has performed in, and directed, numerous amateur productions.

For over ten years he has been associated with Port Fairy Spring Music Festival as performer, writer, director and pre-concert speaker.

For Melbourne City Opera Michael has performed Alcindoro in La Bohème, the Sacristan in Tosca, El Remondado in Carmen, and the Doctor in La Traviata. He also provided the narration for MCO's Fidelio in July 2008.
