Daniela Scriva is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and Monash University.

She made her European debut as Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at the Teatro Gran Guardia in Livorno. Her success led to invitations to sing the role at the Teatro Pergolese (Jesi),Teatro Verdi (Pisa), Teatro Alighieri (Ravenna), and in Corsica, France.

Her other Mozart roles include Susanna, Zerlina, and Despina. Daniela has appeared as Daria Garbinati, in Donizetti's Le Convenzione ed Inconvinienze Teatrale and as the Nightingale in Enfant et Les Sortiege. She has also sung Adele in Die Fledermaus, Aline in the Sorcerer, and Marsinah in Kismet. Daniela was granted an Italian Government Scholarship to study with Fedora Barbieri in Florence.

She made her debut with Melbourne City Opera in the role of Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi.
