Andrew Kolb
Andrew Kolb graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 'Opera and Music Theatre' in 1981. At college he sang Giorgio Germont in La Traviata, and Sharpless in Madama Butterfly. He joined the chorus of the Australian Opera in 1979-80 singing in such famous productions as Joan Sutherland's Don Giovanni and Norman Bailey's Die Meistersinger.
On graduating, Andrew sang minor roles with Globe Opera and reached the semi-finals of the Sun Aria in 1982. He was a cantor at Temple Beth Israel between 1982-84.
He is a well-known recitalist around Melbourne and has directed many musicals for McKinnon High School where he teaches.
