Kevin Kelley has sung with the the Victorian Opera chorus in Cosi fan tutte, St John Passion, Oedipus Rex and Les Noces; Opera Australia Melbourne Chorus in Barber of Seville, Samson et Dalila, La Traviata, Jenufa, Beatrice and Benedick, Tosca, Don Carlo, Marriage of Figaro, La Bohéme, Die Fledermaus and in the world premiere of Richard Mill's Batavia in May 2001: Australian Opera Chorus in Turandot and Die Meistersingers von Nürnberg, Victoria State Opera in Aida, Tosca, Semele, Puccini Spectacular and Janáček's Glagolitic Mass.

With Melbourne City Opera he has performed Count Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro, the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance, Count Danilo in The Merry Widow and Baron Douphol in La Traviata.

With the Eastern Metropolitan Opera he has appeared as Antonio in Marriage of Figaro, as Marco in Gianni Schicchi, Dancairo in Carmen and First Priest/Second Armoured Man in The Magic Flute. He sang the role of Schaunard in La Bohéme for Co-Opera (SA) on their Queensland tour in 2000.

He has performed regularly with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Victoria playing Danilo in The Merry Widow. Guiseppe in The Gondoliers, Robin Oakapple in Ruddigore, Florian in Princess Ida and the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance and Captain Corcoran, on two occasions, in HMS Pinafore. He has also performed the role of Captain Corcoran and the Pirate King for Babirra Music Theatre.
