Rosie Daniel is a Graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts. She completed a Bachelor in Fine Art — Painting in 1995. She began training as a singer soon after graduating from VCA and joined Melbourne City opera in 1998. Glenda Beeston (predominant teacher for the past five years) and Dr. Joseph Talia have nurtured Rosie’s interest in classical singing. Having performed in the MCO chorus since 1998 Rosie has participated in the following operas: La Bohème, L’elisir D’amore, Un Ballo In Maschera, Don Giovanni, Carmen, Il Trovatore, Tosca and various concerts held at Melba Hall, and Crown Casino. She also sang in the chorus of Tosca performed at the Port Fairy Festival in October of 2002. Having returned to performing after completing a Diploma in Education during 2001, Rosie made her principal debut with Melbournce City Opera as one of the young lovers in Il Tabarro.
