Joanna Cole Caroline Bopp

Caroline was born in Switzerland. She completed a postgraduate certificate in Public Relations from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences majoring in Psychology from Monash University.

She has participated in numerous concerts with the Victoria Chorale where she performed in Carmina Burana at the State Theatre and in the chorus of AÏda with the then Victoria State Opera. Caroline joined the Melbourne City Opera Chorus from 2000 to 2003 where she performed in Don Giovanni, Carmen, Falstaff, Trovatore, Cavalleria, Paggliacci, Tabarro and Tosca.

In 2007 she started vocal training with Dr Joseph Talia and appeared in Attila and the Pavarotti Story concert.

In 2008 she understudied the role of Leonore in Fidelio and sang the part of Lauretta from Gianni Schicchi in the Puccini Story.

She has just completed a tour of Italy including Master classes with Rolando Panerai, Veriano Luchetti, Mietta Singhele, Maestro Gaetano Colajanni, Dr Joseph Talia and sang excerpts from Tosca, Turandot and La Bohème in concerts.

In 2009 she sings the role Giovanna in Ernani.
