Glenda Beeston Glenda Beeston

Glenda graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts School of Music having firstly completed a BA degree in drama and media.

She has worked extensively for the former Victoria State Opera and also Opera Australia.

Her Melbourne City Opera roles include Mistress Ford in Falstaff, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Amelia in Un Ballo in Maschera, the title role in Carmen, Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana and Mimi in La Bohéme which was performed as part of the Italian Republic Day Festival. She has also sung the Countess in La Nozze di Figaro for the VCA, the title role in Gilbert and Sullivan's lolanthe for Melbourne Music Theatre, Kathryn Grayson in The Mario Lanza Story and appeared as a soloist for an internet link-up with five continents celebrating the birth of Verdi.

As a concert performer, Glenda has sung Nedda in Pagliacci, the title role in Tosca, Handel's Messiah and appears regularly as a club and concert performer with a varied repertoire of popular opera and light musical favourites.
