Friends, Sponsorship, Partnerships & Corporate Programmes

As a not-for-profit organization Melbourne City Opera aims to stage quality opera at affordable prices, with productions that feature our local singing, musical and staging talent.

We are entirely dependent on sponsorship, private support and ticket sales in order to provide the high production standards of which we are proud.

Through the Friends of Melbourne City Opera we are able to express our appreciation for the dedicated support and commitment of our sponsors and supporters who are essential for our survival and further development in pursuit of our stated aims.

We appreciate the many kind offers of assistance and we acknowledge that without the provision of sponsorship we would be unable to continue as presently configured.

In essence there are three significant advantages of becoming a Corporate Sponsor.

Firstly, Corporate Sponsors are entitled to advertising and ticket packages for our productions together with invitations to social events held during the year.

Secondly, attractive packages can be structured around your corporation's requirements.

Finally, Corporate Events can be tailored around the unique nature of the operatic experience.

As an individual, family or corporate member of the Friends of Melbourne City Opera, your contribution to the well-being of the company will be profound whilst enabling you to enjoy social, artistic and cultural undertakings that enrich and enhance our community and our lives.

The Friends of MCO stage many events throughout the year and sponsor various MCO undertakings. Individual members and the wider group of Friends derive great pleasure from a closer relationship with MCO and the artists associated with the company.
